In Miami, there is always something to do — from yacht parties, bar and club hopping, and fashion shows galore! The sidewalk is a never-ending runway in South Florida and everyone is always dressed to the nines. Now that summer is here, it is Caribbean Style Week’s turn to add some real flavour to the fashion industry. The islands are bursting with inspiration so I can only imagine a designer’s portfolio and the sketches waiting to come to life!
As Caribbean American Heritage Month comes to an end, there will be a fashion show this Saturday, June 28, held at the Westfield Broward Mall and all are invited! Designers like Kulture Klothes, HD Premium Denim, Chandra Maharaj Swimwear, for my ladies … and fellas (wink wink) and so many more! Miss Jamaica Universe will also be joining in on the fun so come mix, mingle and get to know a great young leader in our Caribbean community.
The vibes this month have been amazing and there are so many people who want to get involved and do something different.
“With our unique location in Central Broward and close proximity to several hotels, International Airport and Cruise Port, Westfield Broward has evolved into a retail locale where a multitude of cultures organically converge. The new Westfield Broward is creating a venue where the communal engagement of hanging out with family and friends from various cultures in a fun and safe environment that incorporates important family functions alongside quality retail stores is embraced and promoted. And what better way to celebrate culture than by partnering with various entities in the Caribbean community during Caribbean American Heritage month?” Andrew Martineau, Director of Marketing – Westfield Broward, said.
I hope the Caribbean massive comes out to support! Big tings ah gwan and we’re just getting started!
