This Island 360 workout is kicking my tail, but we’re almost there so keep pushing!! Although ah feel fi some festival an’ jerk from truck stop, but I guess I can save that for cheat day Sunday! I’m trying to make sure my body is looking right, all angles included.
Here are some ideas for a few healthy meals that are carnival-body friendly but also don’t taste like cardboard.
Curried Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables and Quinoa
Jerk Chicken Wings (grilled or baked) with Sweet Plantains and small house salad
Corn Soup (my fave)
Fish Fillet (of your choice) topped with a mango salsa and brown cilantro lime rice
Brown Stew Chicken (white meat), Brocolli and Cauliflower (NO CHEESE) and Roasted Corn
Blackened Salmon with Mashed Sweet Potato, and Roasted Asparagus
Mouth dripping yet? I can’t give you all my secrets but any home-cooked meal is better than buying food from a restaurant. Remember this motto, “Eat Breakfast Like A King, Lunch Like A Prince and Supper Like A Pauper.”
